We are in the midst of some building works to expand our church premises. During this period,
ISS and SSS will be holding Combined Sunday School (CSS) at 8.20am in the Fellowship Hall. Come join us!

At ISS, our students are young teens aged 13 to 16. Our focus is to be there for them and help them face the changes they are going through in life. This can only be achieved when they know God at a personal level as their Saviour.
At our ISS Worship session, we teach our students what true worship is and how they can honour God. Class sizes are intentionally kept small to enable teachers to know their students well and to facilitate interaction between class members.
ISS Goals are:
- To confirm the salvation of our students, that they know God as their personal Saviour.
- To teach Bible principles and Christian values.
- To deepen our students’ understanding of the Bible.
- To help young teens apply what they have learnt to their daily lives through Bible books and topics that are relevant to today’s teens.
- To build spiritual disciplines such as daily personal reading of God’s Word and how to pray and wait upon God.
- To forge a bond between our teachers and students with teachers functioning as their mentors.
- To teach our students to have a genuine concern for people e.g. support Missions work in our IPC family.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Teachers & Classes
ISS is a place where I grew much in my faith.
I thank God for the support and care from my Sunday School teachers and Church friends, especially when I sat for my GCE O-Level Examination.
I really want to thank all the teachers as they played a big role in my spiritual growth. As I move to SSS1, I will endeavour to remember the lessons taught by my teachers.
There is so much I have gained from ISS and from my teachers. In 2 Peter, the Apostle Peter introduced himself as a bondservant. And it’s truly inspiring to see so many teachers serving wholeheartedly as bondservants, utterly dedicated to God, His Word and His will. I have learnt much. I am indeed encouraged and deeply moved by the commitment of my teachers over the last 4 years! Experiencing the graciousness of our Lord moves me to serve Him and follow this steadfast and infallible God.
My Sunday school teacher, Teacher Peng Hui, has shown great care toward us, faithfully teaching us the Lord’s Word every Sunday and its application to our daily lives. We were very stressed and worried about our GCE O-Level Examination but Teacher Peng Hui always encouraged us using the Lord’s Word. He would pray for us and would constantly remind us not to worry, but to trust in the Lord, as everything is in His Hands.
My Sunday school teachers have always been looking out for me all these years. Teacher Peng Hui has been constantly supporting us. He makes it a point to know how we are doing each week and what we’re going through, offering us good advice and sharing with us how he applies his faith in his life. For this I am truly grateful and as I leave ISS, I know that I have truly been blessed these four years and I look forward to growing even more in the coming years.
2014 was a year of great uncertainty for me as I sat for my GCE N-Level Examination. Teacher Gerald reminded me of God’s everlasting love and His promises. He shared with me Proverbs 3: 5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” These verses brought so much comfort to my heart. Indeed, God loves me and is with me always. I must do my best and God will take care of the rest. I thank God that I did well and achieved my ‘dream points’. I thank God for His work in my life because it would not have been possible without God.
